Motorbike Tour In Vietnam

My Motorbike Tour In Vietnam

So i did a Motorbike tour in Vietnam with vietriderz. They told me they just started their company and i think we were the first customers. We weren’t sure if we should do it at first, but they were so nice and so we decided to do it. They told us their story how they started their company and it was quite interesting. So we didn’t know what kinda tour we wanted to do at first but we discussed it together and found a nice route for us. Our plan now is to drive from Hoi An to Hue.

Hoi An is such a nice place. If you want custom made clothing, just come here. There is like a billion tailors here.

So our motorbike tour began in the morning at 8am. The motorbike tour guides arrived at around 7.45am. The bikes were awesome. We met the motorbike tour guides and they explain to us who they were and what we were going to do that day. We strapped all the backpacks to the back of the bikes and off we went.

The ride was very cool. Got a little bit hot at times. But we had some swimming breaks during the motorbike tour. We went to see My Son Sanctuary. It looked like a small Angkor Wat. The sights were nice, but it was more the drive that got me impressed about Vietnam. We drove over the Hai Van Pass to Lang co. That was just Amazing. I ask the motorbike tour guide to stop many times to let me take pictures. i though he was annoyed by me after 10 times. he was not. such a nice guy. Arriving in Lang Co i had to stop again. The view over Lang Co beach is crazy.

We had lunch on a restaurant on a lake. Food was pretty good and we had some time to relax and talk for a bit. They explained to me that they were doing motorbike tour for many years now. They seem to having a lot of fun doing this job. We felt also quite comfortable with them.

After lunch we drove to Hue. The freeway was not so nice to drive. But after a little part of the freeway we took some countryside roads. That was a lot of fun. Sam some small villages. Rice fields everywhere. We stopped for some vietnamese cafe sua da. That means coffee with condensed milk. It taste so good.

After couple hours we finally arrived in Hue. What a busy city. I loved it from the beginning. So many restaurants and bars. The guys from vietriderz asked us where our hotel was. We didn’t had one yet. hehehe. lazy travellers. They were so nice. They made some calls and off we went to the hotel. it was very nice and the price was also very nice. We had such a good time with them. After a long day we could finally sit down for a beer together. We exchange contacts and said goodbye to them. Left them a nice tip of course. Not sure if that is normal here in Vietnam. But they deserved it. That was an amazing adventure. I wish we did a much longer motorbike tour with them and really get to know them more. They did their job really well.

I strongly recommend Vietriderz Motorbike tours to everyone. They made my trip in Vietnam more special. I hope they will do well. I will definitely return someday.
Thanks vietriderz,

Safe travels

Billy
