Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park is one of the most popular national parks, attracting people from all over the world to experience all of the great activities that it has to offer. Great Outdoorz put together an article providing us with the greatest adventures to explore at the park, and why you should experience them.

Bridalveil Falls

A must see at Yosemite is definitely Bridalveil Falls. This is not your average waterfall. The trails to it are very easily accessible, and can be hiked by anyone. On sunny days, the sun’s rays hit the mist from the waterfall, creating and illuminating a beautiful rainbow color. When you enter the park, this will most likely be the first waterfall that you’ll see. Although this waterfall can be appreciated through several points throughout the park, the best view is the Tunnel View. It’s always best to experience this waterfall when it’s bright and sunny out, but if you can’t, you will still be satisfied with its natural beauty.

Great Climbing

Being one of the world’s greatest climbing areas, you can experience a variety of challenging climbs at this park. Yosemite National Park is sometimes referred to as a “climbers playground”. There are many climbs to take on at this park, for climbers of all skill levels. No matter if you are a complete pro at rock climbing or if you don’t even know what rock climbing is, this is a fun adventure that would be very hard for anyone to resist.

Breathtaking Views

You never truly understand the full meaning of breathtaking until you actually experience this park. A picture may be worth 1000 words, but no picture of Yosemite will ever be able to explain how truly wonderful the views here are. Experience Yosemite National Park from 3000 feet high at Glacier Point. There are no words to fairly describe this, it’s kind of a “See It To Believe It” type of deal. Camping

One of the greatest activities to experience in Yosemite is camping. After a long day hiking and enjoying the wonderful views that Yosemite has to offer, take a load off and turn your trip into a camping trip. Lay down and just stare at the night sky, filled with bright stars and the huge moon, and if you’re lucky, you might even get to see a shooting star. Whether you decide to go in a tent or an RV, you definitely won’t regret camping at this park. Keep in mind that most of these campsites are first come, first served, so remember to be the first one to arrive in the destination that you’re planning to camp.
