Oman is located in the southeast side of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. The Persian Gulf and Arabic Sea is East of Oman. Its capital is Muscat and the entire country has a population averaging about 3,314,000 with half of the population living in Muscat alone. When visiting Oman you will be able to hear a multitude of different languages including Arabic, English and Urdu. The best time to travel to Oman is from September to April when it is cool and breezy. May through August tends to be hot and humid and not necessarily the best time to visit. Nakhal Fort

This place is a large Middle Eastern fort that is located in the Al Batinah region of Oman. It provides a 360 view of the countryside that surrounds this lovely fort. There are hot springs that flow throughout the year from the mountain rock around the fortress.

Wadi Shab

This area is beautiful to see particularly when there is an accumulation of water. It has seven pools of green water during the rainy season and it is located between the capital and the town of Sur. There are rocky boulders and caves with streaming water that makes this one of the top places to see when you travel to Oman.

Salalah

This is the second largest town in Oman and it has temperate climate that is comfortable and enjoyable to be outside. Its outstanding beauty of waterfalls and rock formations are stunning to see alongside blow holes and an anti-gravity point that make this a popular area to go to.

Jabrin Castle

This castle is also known as the Green Mountains and it’s located near Akdar Mountains. It is known for its population of rose water and its incredible landscape. There is masterful artistry included on the walls and ceilings with inscriptions from the Quaran.

Jebel Shams

This place is also known as the Mountain of the Sun where it sits 9000 feet above sea level. It is the highest mountain in the country and a part of Al Haja mountain range. It is considered the second largest canyon in the world outside of the Grand Canyon.
