If you have already been to Scotland in your motorhome or have plans to do so, then there’s nothing to be surprised about, as according to a recent survey by “Visit Scotland”, the Highlands were voted as the number one tourist destination in United Kingdom for those who are planning for their next motorhome holidays. In this survey, total 5,337 UK motorhome owners from Piping Cornwall, the Peak District & the Lake District took part, and one out of every five participant chose the Highlands as their ideal motorhome destination.
In fact, Scotland is so popular amongst motorhome enthusiasts from UK that around 135,000 trips have been made to Scotland by campers, dormobiles & caravans alone, spending a total of £23 million and staying at an average of 4.4 nights.
