Bali Island is a wonderful place for falling in love just by looking at the pictures of island. However, this island has own spirit and character. It’s not open to everyone.
In a small area of the island you can find so much wonderful places to wonder, that can overfill your emotions. After first hours of being on the “divine land” you can easily miss “your” Bali Island. But the secret of a perfect holiday is to find your personal place for pleasure, like it was created just for you.
Discovering Hidden Gems: Exploring Bali Island Surfing Paradise and Serene Sanctuaries
If you go to Bali to look for the best waves, be sure to find them on the South West Coast (areas Canggu and Umalas). Importantly, do not go for the temptation to stay in the surf capital of the island, Kuta, with its crowded beaches and hotels. However, if you want to visit a good surf school (Windy Sun or Endless summer for example), you can get lessons in secret, almost empty areas of the island.
Ubud is the city for people, who go to Bali Island for internal harmony and inspiration like the heroine of the book ” Eat. Pray. Love”. The main thing here is not to stay on the main streets. Oasis of untouched nature opens behind the facades of shops and restaurants: flower gardens, rice fields, jungle and yoga centers with views of the rainforest (Intuitive flow, Yoga barn). Virgin, untouristic places called «real Bali», is also in the eastern part of the island, near Manggis and Amed, and the North – in Lovina and Pemuteran.
Tranquil Retreat and Culinary Delights: Embracing the Magic of Ubud and Beyond
You can go there to have a rest and meditate. Just rent a house, to look from your cozy terrace for magical Ubud landscape with heavy rain outside. After seeing this performance of nature you can visit Kafe, “small epicenter” of social.
Ubud has many fine cafes. Some have the famous French chefs, some have gorgeous views of the rice fields – but I love Kafe more than any other place. Try snack from lentil and drink energy coctail from aloe and curcuma. This place is visited not just by people, but personalities. Here you can meet interesting people and gurus with “burning eyes”.
If shopping is your passion, look at the interior salons and art galleries of Seminyak district. Explore Jalan Oberoi, Jalan Raya Seminyak, and Kerobokan streets. Designers come here from around the world for furniture and Balinese accessories.
Look around and maybe you will find your own Bali Island.
