About Lisbon Escape Game:

The Lisbon Escape Game is the first real live game in Lisbon where you will find yourself locked in a house and have to find a way to get out of it.

You will be challenged to do so by finding real objects, solve puzzles, decode messages and combine a series of clues the will enable you to find the way out.

You have 1 hour to use your mind together with teamwork, problem solving skills and old survival instincts, just like many of the Lisbon spies had to, back in the old days.

We have created and designed the game to push your lateral thinking skills to the limits and of course for you to have fun.

So if you think you can make it, gather your friends and get ready!

Lisbon, 1940´s,

In Europe, World War II in on its way to achieve its peak. Some of the most vital decisions are about to take place.

Lisbon, as the capital of a neutral country, geographically positioned in a place of utmost importance, is at the heart of where such decisions will be made.
This old city is boiling with activity: thousands arrive every day.

At the same time, hundreds of spies gather, in a dangerous game.

The most brilliant of all spies was… Jack Barbosa.

He has mysteriously disappeared… but rumors say that he had a secret apartment in downtown Lisbon where he managed to collect some valuable pictures and information about other spies that can influence how history will be written.

There are some clues to follow, but only a courageous person can solve the mystery. We can give you the address, but…will you manage to get out of there on time?

SPIES IN LISBON

[A BIT OF HISTORY…]

Despite few weapons have been fired in Lisbon during the 2nd World War, the city played a major role in the conflict.
In the cafes of Rossio and Avenida da Liberdade – lit by street lamps or the shining light – diplomats, spies and refugees from all corners of a shaking Europe. Guns in the Lisbon were of other kind: intrigue, betrayal and opportunism: a theatre scenario between members of both sides of the war.

In this period of conflict the Portuguese capital was the place where everything and everyone converged, attracted by the peace reigning in a devastated Europe and abundance for those who had some currency.
The intelligence services of both sides kept Lisbon in an intense activity. All lived in the light of the white town with some glamor but intense adventure to provide that information to each of their countries.

Although our game is fictional, it is based on the true story that Lisbon was a mysterious city of spies!
We have tried to combine fun with history to allow you to discover a bit more about these times and the life of a double agent.
