The Dubai Dream is now a Reality

It all started with a dream, which transformed into a vision, which turned into a reality. The dream of prosperity and progress for all the fellow citizens and vision of making a favorite tourism destination, attracting tourist from all over the world has been a startling success. That dream changed the face of Dubai from the inside out. From a trade based and oil reliant emirates to a favorite tourism destination for people from around the world, despite having no historical significance and natural sightseeing. This vision led to major developments in United Arab Emirates especially in Dubai.

A revolution of roads, highways, bridges, hotels, landmarks and other developments took place so rapidly that it was said that if you blinked your eyes for more than a second another development would have been started and finished. Dubai has earned the reputation of one of the fastest growing cities in the world and is known as the gateway between the east and the west.

With it’s basic but very efficient and futuristic developments; Dubai took a revolutionary road of building and developing the firsts of a lot of constructions. From the world’s biggest mall, the world’s tallest building and the biggest and most impressive fountain display. With ever developing infrastructure, trade and tourism, Dubai is now home to over 2 million people with more than 200 nationalities of people who live in the city.

With the Expo 2020 bid being won by Dubai, the number of visitors is expected to rise from 10 million in 2012 to 20 million by 2020. In order to accommodate that rather large increase in the number of visitors, the infrastructure is going to double in size and variety. This includes hotels, holiday homes, Dubai property, and trade centers. With the Dubai tram nearly completion, the resultant networks and improved transport routes will make commuting and travelling in the city easier. New water systems are also being built and new themed residential cities are taking shape day and night to accommodate the amount of tourists projected for 2020. New airways and airports will also be added to make sure the Dubai Dream continues to grow and reach it’s full potential.

One thing is for certain; Dubai will continue to expand in size and increase it’s popularity amongst tourists from all over the world. The Dubai dream has become a reality.
