Swan Valley Food and Wine Trail
Foodies and wine snobs take note! This 32 kilometer trails will take you past some of the finest wineries and restaurants in the region. Beer lovers, fear not, there are also numerous microbreweries making over twenty varieties of beer, located on the trail as well. This trail is a great way to see exactly what the area has to offer. You can either take the trail on your own, or there are a variety of tour guides who make trips around the trail, stopping at many of the wineries and restaurants. This is a great way to sample all of the fine wines without having to worry about driving afterward. Another option for the wine tours would be to tour the region by boat. Museum of Natural History Academy of Taxidermy
At this quirky little museum, located in the Regent Picture Theatre, you will find hundreds of life sized animals preserved perfectly allowing you to get up close and personal with some of the world’s most dangerous animals. There is even a life sized dinosaur model display. While there’s no apparent order to the museum, young and old alike will enjoy seeing so many different wild life like animals in one place.
Oasis Supa Golf and Adventure Putt
Have a couple of hours to kill, and the kids are tired of watching mom and dad swill down glass after glass of the area’s finest wines? Take them out on a little Supa Golf excursion.
