The Belfast Castle is situated on Cave Hill Ireland which offers amazing views of the city and the coast. The Cave Hill Country Park has been outlined as one of the best spots to visit any time of the day however the castle is only open from 9am until 10pm. There are walking routes on the park that will enable you to take in the majesty of Belfast at its best. Of course this is best done after the castle has blown you away with its striking beauty and its impossibly creative architecture. Just a short distance from the castle you will find the zoo.
The Belfast Zoo Ireland boasts of a host of wild animals some of them you probably have never heard of. You will find everything from zebras and prairie dogs (quite impressive ones at that) to giraffes and a very recently added feature- a lion cub.
The Ulster Museum is also an outstanding place containing everything from breathtaking marine life to a generous collection of art. There is also a section containing history of the Irish conflict. It was recently renovated to make the experience more memorable.
Visiting the Belfast City Hall Ireland will prove to be a really interesting venture. The building has a great feel about it. Apart from the many administrative offices you will find in the building, there are excellent free tours available on each day of the week. All you have to do is make a phone call in advance to know the times. The grounds of the Belfast City Hall have a statue of Queen Victoria and a memorial to victims of the Titanic.
When we talk about the Titanic, remember that the residents of Belfast take great pride in the fact that they built the colossal ship. When visiting the Titanic Quarter (an upcoming residential and commercial neighbourhood), you can enjoy a boat tour around the area where they constructed the Titanic.
