South East Asia has been bestowed with abundance of beauty. There are numerous worth seeing places and some of them which are considered as treat for tourists are discussed in this article.
Cambodia
This is a very small country but having a very strong and solid history. Numerous tourists’ spots are there. Preah Vuhear is a temple which is worth seeing which is constructed in 11th century.
Sihanoukville is a beach resort and a port city having white sand. This is the most attractive part for the tourists.
Lao
Laos is the landlocked and mountainous country. There are numerous tourists’ spots there. An extensive network of caves is the most attractive
part of this country. The government is giving special attention to promote this place as the tourists spot. Wat Phu is the oldest temple in the country which is almost destroyed but still a worth visiting place. Pha That Luang is the wonderful monument in the country. This clearly highlights the Buddhist enlightenment in the country. Plain of Jars is a huge land covered with unidentified stone jars which are scattered everywhere in the plain. This is another worth seeing place. Research shows that these stone jars may linked with the burial practices in prehistoric era.
Malaysia (Cameron highlands)
The Cameron highlands are located high above the Malaysian Peninsula and is having a
wonderful climate having temperature range between 17-23 degree Celsius. This place was once used as gateway for the British officers as well as their families during the British rule but now it is an attractive tourists’ destination. The unique forest there is the major source of attraction.
Indonesia (Bali)
Many people think Bali is too touristy and over rated but this is indeed a tourist spot and a wonderful place. There are so many places interesting to be visited in Bali. Uluwatu Temple is like cliffhanging temple over a mountain and is must
visit place. Another similar rock formation can be found at Pura Tanah Lot which is also a temple and shows the cultural heritage of Indonesia. For dolphin sighting and boat trip, the best place is the Lovina.
Myanmar
Myanmar is full of tourists’ attractions. Numerous old temples and especially the Golden rock is the worth seeing place. It is full of natural
beaches and thick forests which attract the attention of the visitors. It is almost an untouched place which is yet to be explored by the tourists. If you are planning a Myanmar tour, you will need to spend at least 5 or 6 days to cover main places such as Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay, Inle, and Golden Rock. The best time to travel to Myanmar is between November and January when the weather is about 25degree.
